Colombo Sightseeing Tour
Day Tour
Your tour starts with a pickup from your hotel at 9am. First Visit Kalaniya Rajamaha Viharaya Temple, one of the most revered temples for the Buddhists in and around Colombo. Is is said to have been made sacred during Lord Buddha’s final visit to Sri Lanka. After, visit several other religious monuments, such as Parvathi Hindu Temple, St. Anthony’s Church, Gangaramaya Temple, and the island temple of Seema Malaka.
Proceed to Apegama, a replica of the villages of old day Sri Lanka, and see the Parliament of Sri Lanka. Around 1pm, you will stop for lunch at Rajabojun Grand Buffet to enjoy a Sri Lankan meal.
After lunch, you will visit BMICH, the Bandaranayake Memorial Conference Hall, Independence Square, Lotus Pond Theater and Galle Face Green, an urban park that spans for five hectares along the Indian Ocean.
At around 2:30pm, you will be taken Romarfour Shopping Complex, Serene Center (for herbal products, gems and tea), and Odel Shopping complex so you can shop at leisure. At 5pm, you will be dropped back off to your hotel.
